It was the journey of a lifetime. I was able to truly discover my heritage through the historical landmarks, the tradition, and the people that have shaped my life as I know it today. There is no doubt in my mind that I will return to Armenia to continue the search for my identity.

Early today, Hrant Dink was shot dead outside his newspaper office in Istanbul, followed by a mass rally by almost all 60,000 of Istanbul’s Armenian community. Pictures of Dink were held up while people chanted, “WE ARE HRANT DINK.”
