CYMA Black Tie Gala Postponed
The CYMA executive committee would like to announce this year’s Black Tie Gala scheduled for May 19, has been postponed until later this year. The committee and 2007 participants have been elated by the wave of support it has received for this year’s program. Many thanks to all individuals who purchased tickets and made donations. These generous persons will be contacted individually regarding the event’s postponement.
As stated in previous announcements, this year’s CYMA mission is the largest to date with over 30 participants traveling to Armenia to experience their homeland. For this reason, the CYMA committee must continue aggressive fundraising activities in order to ensure CYMA’s success.
In order to meet the financial need of the 2007 CYMA program, the CYMA executive committee has instituted a new fundraising program whereby patrons can sponsor CYMA on our www.cyma-wd.org website sponsorship page. Donors will be able to advertise their company with a logo and link to their website for a one year budget cycle. In addition, individual donors will also have a sponsorship page to assist in financing the CYMA mission for one year. More details will be available soon and will posted on www.cyma-wd.org
We thank the community for their support as we embark on this year’s Christian Youth Mission to Armenia. CYMA is a mission of the ACYO and solely relies on the support of the faithful of the Western Diocese to finance operating costs while also providing scholarship opportunities for CYMA participants.
