“Bridge the Gap” is the ongoing mission of the CYMA program. We believe we must leverage the resources that we have available in the diaspora and create an environment of collaboration between the diasproa, Armenia and Artsakh. Through this collaboration, a bridge of knowledge and resources can be created and sustained. Throughout the duration of either journey, participants have the ability to learn and share their ideas, skills and motivations with other Armenian students from around the diaspora and Armenia and Artsakh. This is not a one way road. We except and count on participants to come back to their diasporan communities not only with a deeper understanding of Armenia and Artsakh, but also a new perspective of the diaspora, the Armenian Apostolic Church, and their role in their development.It should be the goal for all Armenian youth to experience their spiritual and cultural identity. This program accomplishes this goal. It is gives our Armenian youth the opportunity to truly experience their Motherland and contribute to the ongoing mission to “Bridge the Gap.”

In order for the CYMA mission to reach its objectives and goals, our program directly relies on the support of the Western Diocese and supporting community. The operating costs and available scholarships funds must all be obtained from fundraising and sponsorships from those who believe this program of the Armenian Church to be an important and vital to Armenian Youth.In light of this, the CYMA Executive Committee has started a new program for individuals, organizations, and businesses to take an active role in the growth and development of the CYMA program.The sponsorship program is broken up into the following categories:

CYMA-WD Life Trustee - $100,000
Bridge the Gap Trustee - $10,000
Trustee -$5,000
Bridge the Gap Sponsor - $1,000
Fellow Sponsor - $500
Contributing Sponsor $250
Supporting Sponsor $100
CYMA-WD Sponsor $50
