Return Home

Well, most of you know that last year I spent 9 months living in Armenia. And most of you know that I’ve since returned to CA. Many have asked me about my experiences in Armenia and wonder why it is that I left, and why I went there in the first place, and what it was like. There are many things that I have shared with many people but few things that I’ve actually be able to blog/write about. So, I’m hoping this summer I am able to connect with my Hayrenik once again and write about it.

I’ll be a delegate for the Western Diocese at the First International Armenian Church Youth Organization General Assembly and Pilgrimage. This is a very exciting position and trip for me. The ACYO has always had a special place in my heart. Its where I began my involvement in the church, its where I met most of my friends, if not all… and its where I continue my involvement in the church. Without the ACYO, I don’t know where I would be, or what path I would have taken in life. All I know is that I’m glad I took this one! Many people don’t know this but my Masters thesis was written on the topic of creating a plan for the International ACYO. I can’t say that this plan is coming to fruition, but I can say that it is a dream/vision come true for me and for many other people, people who have influenced me. I only hope I can be such an influence on the youth of our church!

Ok, so lets get this show on the road! Although I will only be in hayastan for a week, so I don’t know if I will be able to blog while I am there, although I sure will try.. I will definitely blog upon my return. sirov, tam :)
