no way jose!!!

So these past few days have been some of the most fun/interesting/entertaining/ any other random word you can think about.

The ACYO International meetings took place over the last 4 days and it was seriously awesome to meet people from Brazil and Holland who spoke Armenian and spoke there own countries languages. Since there were only 2 American groups we did receive a lot of attention. By the way Western diocese ACYO rules this planet. After spending almost 2 weeks here I have grown to really love Armenia. Its a little bit difficult for me to imagine going back to America and not WALKING EVERYWHERE. I think I forgot how to drive.

To change subjects really fast I think the french fries in Armenia are some of the best I have ever had or as they call them here “frees”, ooo and for those of you who have been to Armenia before know what the meat does to you, a date with the porcelain express! I think my diet has consisted of bread, tomatoes, and cucumbers. another change of subject….

soI have seen some differences regarding church in Armenia and church in America. For as long as I have been going to church, I have always made a huge effort to look appropriate with a skirt and a jacket, but I have realized that in Armenia church is such an everyday part of life, that when they go to worship on Sundays it is more casual than in America. I feel like for a lot of the young people back at home going to church on Sundays is viewed as a task, but here in Armenia, the young kids I feel have a real want and desire to go to church so its become a part of their everyday lives.

It’ about 5 am in the morning here in Armenia and I can not sleep, maybe its because of my excitement to go to kharapagh!! yay, but boo on an 8 hour bus ride. I’m having sooo much fun here and the fact that were leaving in less than 6 days makes me really sad. I’m already planning my trip for next summer! loving life and loving Armenia… time for some sleep!
