CYMA 2010 DEPARTURE JUST ONE DAY AWAY

After a successful final orientation at the Diocese, all participants are prepared to depart on the trip tomorrow. They will be meeting at Tom Bradley International Airport at 4:45 PM. This year's trip builds off of last year's mission but distinguishes itself in very unique ways.

Final Orientation--June 19th @ the Diocese

The CYMA Estate Sale was a great success. All participants showed up eager to sell their belongings to fundraise for this year’s great mission. Thanks to the work of the participants and their families, the tuition for this year’s mission is even more affordable.
The final orientation for participants will be on Saturday, June 19 at the Diocese in Burbank at 11 AM. At this orientation, all participants will receive a packet with important information about what to bring and a final briefing on what sites we will be seeing.

CYMA 2009 Moved Mountains. This Year, Participants will be Building Mountains--But We Need YOUR Help!

As the CYMA Executive Committee is finalizing the details of this upcoming summer’s trip, the participants are getting excited about developments in this year’s mission. The trip will depart on June 30th and return to the United States on July 31st. Like in 2009, the participants will be staying in a beautiful 6-bedroom house located in the heart of Yerevan. Along with the regular visits to the major tourist attractions around Armenia, the group will once again be taking trips into Artsakh and Gyumri.

CYMA Estate Sale-- Saturday, June 5th 2010

As the trip draws closer, CYMA is holding a new type of fundraiser—an Estate Sale on June 5th. It will be taking place at Istanbul Armenian Organization at 19726 Sherman Way, Winnetka CA 91306. All participants will be participating in this and will be selling personal belongings and other items. Make sure to stop by and contribute to a great cause. CYMA works actively to keep the price of the mission low for all participants and fundraisers like this one make that a possibility!

Community Engagement Program Being Finalized and Participants Getting Excited

CYMA is finalizing trip details and is ready to send the participants off to the Motherland. We are very excited about the new Community Engagement Program that Father Avedis has been actively planning. The participants will be working at a variety of organizations including the Manana Youth Center, Orran Camp, and the Eco Club. Participants will be interacting with children as they learn about Armenian society.
