Because of a sort of an off week, with the American Independence Day being on Monday and then Armenian Constitution Day on Tuesday, it is Wednesday and it is only my third FULL day of my internship! Today started off a little shaky since I was SO tired and all, not to be helped by the power outage which forced me to take a shower in the dark!

Hello out there in radio land. Please excuse the delay, our internet has been down for the last few days. We have had the last three days off from our internships, and had a mostly free schedule. On the 1st we went to Ashtarakhitzor for Carla's birthday accompanied by the Yaldezians' cousin Suren and his wife and kids, and Lillit who used to work at our hotel and now is one of our local buddies. Ashtarakhitzor is a restaraunt/river/zoo/dance floor/concert hall/awesome in the an area called Ashtarakh(I'm sure I'm spelling this wrong). I also learned that tzor, at least I think, means ravine.

RITA HERE: So basically its Saturday, and we have been in Armenia for 5 days. These five days have probably been the best experience in my lifetime, and there is still 3 weeks left to go!! Everyone is so friendly here, and everything is so cheap! yes. Today we went to Vernisage (open market). MAJOR SHOPPING. Besides the cheap necklaces that have been purchased, very cheap dinners have too. Not only is the food cheap, its probably the best food ive ever had- and the apricots, wow amazingggggg...seriously i cant describe how amazingly awesome everything has been.
