Hello everyone! My name is Carla Yaldezian and I am from St. James L.A. This is my second time to Armenia for a youth mission. In the year 2001, I particpated in the 1700th pilgrimage with many other A.C.Y.O members from all around the western diocese. Armenia has completely changed since 2001 which is a great feeling to witness.

Hi this is Lisa Hosboyar (OCPinky) from St. Mary Costa Mesa in the O.C. Oh my god, Armenia is great! From the moment we all met up in Vienna, the whole group became a family. All of us get along soooo well, I feel like I've known all of them my whole life. Alene is my roomate, and Carla is my twin because we're so much alike. We all make each other laugh every 3 seconds. Rita aka miss Tina video tapes everywhere we go with her 100 pound camera from like 1995, and loves Mozart. Alene likes soccer players. Paul almost got lost in Vienna. Will, is Will.
So its like day 2 in yerevan, after like 3 days of no sleep we just woke up from like a 12 hours of great darkness...we spent a couple hours in washington d.c (fyi the district of columbia is not in maryland or virginia) yes so then we spent a day in Vienna, austrians rock!!!!! Then about 430am yesterday we arrived to HAYASTAN!!!! unfortunetly i caught a case of, first time flyers bad luck, yes thats right my luggage was lost, i am still waiting for it to come back :(... other than that, everything else is sooooo awesomeee. and im glad to say we are all bonding great...yessssssss.
Well, we made it here safe and sound! The flight was realllllllly long, but I think everyone is OK. Vienna was a lot of fun, we went to restaurant there and ordered 6 wienerschnitzel's and some Austrian fried cheese.... we got the public transportation down pretty good and that made our trip a little easier. After starting LA at 4am, the flight from Vienna to Yerevan should have been sleepy time... except there was the Ararat Football team on the flight and the entire back of the plane was a party. I don't think that Austrian Air had enough wine on the flight and The Pacifier, hmmm...
