I actually spent a good hour yesterday writing a blog and then the internet went down in the internet cafe that I was in and, of course, I had forgotten to save it at all so it is gone forever. It was a masterpiece, but now, the world will never know, and I don't even remember what I wrote, so, on to a new blog.
Hello out there in blog-reading land. I hope you are all doing fabulously.
I joined the group about a week and a half ago and I am loving every minute of it. I've been meaning to post something for awhile but our internet situation is pretty grim so I'll do one superblog about what we have been doing since I arrived and some thoughts about the trip thus far. This is my third time in the Motherland and every time I love it more and more. I'm leaving in less than a week and I'm already dreading it....don't even want to think about that so let's move on.
It has been about 2 years since my last blog, I am excited to be back and even more excited to be leaving for Armenia tomorrow to join our CYMA interns for the next couple of weeks. It killed me to see the pilgrims and interns leave from LAX about a month ago but the countdown for me is almost over...thank you Lord.
We're about an hour and a half from leaving for the airport. Some tears, lotsa smiles and memories. I know we havn't blogged too much in quite some time, we have been really freaking busy, to say the least.
I'm definately not ready to leave, I actually spent the last three days trying to extend my stay, but to no avail, the best I could do is a waitlist in NY to LA on August 29th, so, homeword bound I am.
