The CYMA executive committee is pleased to announce the date for the CYMA Dinner Dance Extravaganza. It will be held on the evening of Friday, November 30 at the Long Beach Hyatt featuring Khachig and His Band.
That’s right… Check out that title and you know what is coming up! On Saturday, September 8th there is a HUGE event coming up at the Eyvazian’s home in Carlsbad. This event is for all CYMA participants and their families.
2007 was a special year for CYMA and there couldn’t be a better year too look back and reflect on how awesome it was than a reunion party extravaganza. A HUGE thank you goes out to the Eyvazian’s of Carlsbad whom have graciously offered to host this party. We couldn’t do it without them, thank you all a million.
On Monday, June 18th and Tuesday, June 19th 2007, two groups totaling 29 people, left for their homeland's capitol city, Yerevan, Armenia. Both groups arrived safely and soundly in Yerevan on Wednesday and Thursday respectively. For most, it was there first time out of the United States, and even more, their first glimpse of Mt. Ararat.
With the ramp up to the 2007 program in full bore, the CYMA Executive Committee will be holding the final orientation meeting at Western Diocese Headquarters in Burbank at 12:30pm on Saturday, 9 June.
This final orientation meeting will give the CYMA participants the last bit of info before they are on their way on to Hayastan for their respective journeys. Item to be covered are internships, pilgrimage excursions, accommodation, blogging, what to pack etc., and a quick 101 on Yerevan city maps and directions.
