I just wanted to start off by saying that CYMA was the perfect catalyst in which to travel to Armenia and experience this land and this culture to its greatest extent. Without the countless hours of work by some of my most highly respected friends from back home this trip would not be anywhere near possible. So I want to say thank you to those who put in all that work. I feel like I’ve reflected on most of my great experiences here and I just wanted to write a final blog to close this chapter in my life. I don’t know how many chapters I’ve had in my life, I’ve never really kept count or remembered where one started and another began. This trip to Armenia had without a doubt been the most important chapter in my life.
I think back to the day that we arrived in Yerevan and I remember feeling so disoriented and like my world had been turned upside down. I know this place like the back of my hand now, at least I’d like to say I do. It’s pretty amazing how acquainted you can get with a country in 2 months. It’s gonna be interesting having to come back to America and living like I used to. I’d say I’m about ready to go home, but I’m not ready to leave. I don’t really know what else to say about having to leave, these past 2 months were awesome and unforgettable and flew by. So I guess I’ll leave whatever readers I have with that. Oh yeah, and Come to Armenia, you’ll thank yourself later.
